When in… Frankfurt

We spent 2016 New Year’s Eve in Frankfurt. You may think why Frankfurt? It has nothing special or festive. Well, indeed, the Christmas Market was already closed when we arrived and all the sky scrappers make you think of work. But we have some friends there that we wanted to visit, so we also took this opportunity to visit the city.

Surprisingly, it’s very small 🙂 but it has everything you need, and, of course, you can have a very well paid job there. From what we understood, the people actually living in Frankfurt are young professionals and expats who’s main objective is to earn money and develop their careers. The people who have families are living in the nearby suburbs or villages.

Nonetheless, we’ve enjoyed this weekend break very much. We really like spending the New Year’s Eve abroad and it worthed the time.

The Old Opera House – superb building!

Visiting the European Central Bank. Very innovative and cool building! Not to miss it when in Frankfurt!

And the Stock Exchange as well. We took the bull by the horns, literally :))
